Christmas Wreaths With The Kids

We’re feeling extra festive this week with these cute little holiday wreaths the kids put together just in time for Christmas!

The little ones wanted to do craft at a mums Christmas get together so we made some fun wreaths.
At the Pond wreath, In the Garden wreath and Flower and Creepy Crawlies wreath. Their imagination ran wild with rainbows, snails, ladybugs, and frogs living on their year-round wreath.

Getting Cheerfully Christmas-y In Our Art Classes

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  Our little crafters showed off their fine motor skills, making 3 projects in 1 lesson! We completed Santa Claus and his doppelgänger friends, a pine cone mini tree and the reindeer ornaments (triangle and diamond shapes). They ended the class with a little Christmas treat of brownies and a last smile to our classmate friends!

With a bit of inspiration, we give the kids lots of happy opportunities to express their creativity by splashing paint around on a canvas using different implements– a couple of brushes, droppers, and even their hands if they want to use them!

Experimentation encourages not just imagination but also problem-solving abilities, two very important life skills kids will need growing up.
