Our team from Les Petits Painters will be at the Willoughby City Council’s Drop In Art and Craft Space from Wednesday, 16 January 2019 to Friday, 25 January 2019 conducting art classes for both kids and adults.
The event is open to the public and is free of charge, so head on over and be part of the fun!
From the Willoughby City Council newsletter:
Drop into the Art Space at The Concourse with your kids for an afternoon of easy arts and crafts with Teresa Carlos from Les Petits Painters.
There will be plenty of art activities, stocked with inspiring supplies to get their imagination and creative juices running. They can explore and learn to use different materials, experiment with colours, textures, tools and then take home whatever they’ve created!
Children and adults alike will also be encouraged to contribute to our giant collaborative painting ‘My Australia’ that will wrap around the entire Art Space!
Kids feel good when they are creating and adding colour to their world. It starts with art!
Opening the event on Thursday, 16 January (from 12pm – 1pm) is aboriginal artist, elder, teacher and performer, Walangari Karntawarra sharing about Aboriginal art and culture, and kicking off the event’s gigantic collaborative painting.
Eckersley’s Art & Craft provided Les Petits Painters with Johanna Basford canvasses for the older children to enjoy. It will be distributed January 23rd. First come, first served so come early!
